Singapore: Most admired Knowledge City in the world

Someone I met on the highway of life not too long ago, a newfound co-sojourner, flew to Mexico around the same time I left for China because the Singapore Government had appointed him to Mexico to receive this award on their behalf:

3,400 caught speeding on new highway in 6 days. How?

Saw this blog post from my friend @ SimplyJean and thought I talk about it since

1. This is a blog about highways! (But this post mainly for Singaporean readers only, sorry!)

2. (I think) I actually know how this is done, coz I was shown the technology many moons ago.

NEARLY 3,400 vehicles were caught exceeding the 70kmh speed limit in the underground Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) in the first six days of its opening. Continue reading

I met some Pingsters last night at an event which I helped to put together called PopOut and though it was the first time meeting, most of them recognised me straight out! Don’t ask me how – it used to be that even old friends don’t recognise me on the streets but these days it’s quite often that strangers come up to say hi. Not cool…eeeks!

NUTS lah!

I had the privilege to work on a contract for one of Singapore’s most celebrated enterprenuers in my first business – Mr Sim Wong Hoo, founder of Creative Technologies. Creative is the company that invented sound for your computer and more recently famous for their long-drawn battle with Apple over the personal digital entertainment devices space mainly Zen vs iPod.
